Time to Wrench started as a tool for my own garage. I wanted one place where I could pull up a car and know exactly what had been done, what parts I used, what it cost, and what was coming due next.
I couldn't find anything that worked quite the way my brain wanted it to, so I built it. It is the same kind of documentation mindset I bring to my own vehicles and the builds I share on JJ in Motion.
If you're the kind of owner who cares whether the timing belt was changed at 89,412 miles instead of "sometime around 90k," you're probably the kind of person I built it for too.
This is the same tool I use on my own cars — not a separate demo built for the landing page.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a subscription?
No. Time to Wrench is sold as a one-time purchase based on how many vehicles you want in your garage — $20 for 1 vehicle, $60 for up to 5, or $150 for unlimited. There's no recurring charge.
Is my garage public?
No. Your account, garage, and service history are private by default. If you want to share one vehicle's history — for example when selling it — you can generate a public, view-only link for that vehicle. You can revoke or delete that link at any time, and optionally set it to expire.
How do mileage-based reminders work?
A maintenance item can be due by date, mileage, or both. When both are set, Time to Wrench tells you which threshold is coming up first, and repeat notifications are spaced out so you get a heads-up without being spammed.
Can I use it for more than one car?
Yes. The Solo plan covers 1 vehicle, Garage covers up to 5, and Unlimited has no vehicle limit at all.
Can I use it from my phone?
Yes. Time to Wrench is a responsive web app designed to be usable from the phone you already have with you in the garage. There's no separate native app to install.
What happens when I sell a vehicle?
You can generate a public, read-only history link and hand it to the buyer, then remove the vehicle from your garage whenever you're ready. There isn't currently a feature to transfer a vehicle's history to another Time to Wrench account.
Can a shop use Time to Wrench?
Yes, if what you need is a clean way to maintain vehicle histories. Time to Wrench is not full shop-management software — it doesn't try to replace repair orders, scheduling, invoicing, or a CRM.
Why does my receipt say Apex Solutions LLC?
Payments are processed for Apex Solutions LLC, so that name — rather than "Time to Wrench" — may appear on your receipt or card statement.
